You’re web-site saved my life! On May 22, 2006 we purchased two non-refundable tickets for our trip to Perth & Auckland in August. Wouldn’t you know I landed in the hospital for a week beginning Memorial Day, and didn’t get a chance to look for trip insurance until today. Your site is perfectly clear, and it appears I just made the purchase in time (Travelex Plus – 21 day grace period for pre-existing. Was totally confused until I found Trip Insurance Store.com!! Thank – you.
Again, you guys were the only place I could figure out this 21 day period thing. Another web-site had the same insurance (for another $40+), but you explained that the 21 days began the day after we made our initial deposit! I never thought much about the pre-existing condition issue until I began looking around yesterday. I always buy travel insurance as I’m on Medicare. Good thing I decided to look yesterday – or I would have been going away for over two weeks without it.
I spent two hours searching sites having googled “Travel health insurance.” Got tired and confused and tried “Travel health insurance, pre-existing condition” you were at the top of the list.
