Here’s How the IMG LX Plan’s
Cancel For Any Reason Benefit Works:

Forefinger bullet point The IMG LX may be upgraded with the 75% Cancel and Interrupt For Any Reason coverage for a 50% surcharge if bought not more than 20 days after your initial trip deposit date.

If You cancel Your Trip for any reason not otherwise covered by the IMG LX policy, IMG will reimburse You, up to the Maximum Benefit Amount shown in the Schedule of Benefits, for the unused, forfeited, prepaid non-refundable Payments or Deposits Travel Arrangements You purchased for Your Trip, when You cancel Your Trip prior to Scheduled Departure Date for any reason not otherwise covered by this policy, provided the following conditions are met:

  1. You cancel Your Trip no later than two (2) days prior to the Scheduled Departure Date of Your Trip.

You can only purchase this benefit at the time the base policy is purchased and within twenty (20) days of the initial trip deposit.

This Cancel for Any Reason Benefit does not cover the failure of the Travel Supplier to provide the bargained-for Travel Arrangements due to cessation of operations for any reason.

Special Conditions: In the event of a Cancel for Any Reason claim, You must advise the Travel Supplier and Us as soon as possible in the event of a claim or of learning of a potential need to cancel Your Trip prior to Your Scheduled Departure Date, whichever is sooner.

IMG will not pay benefits for any additional penalty charges incurred that would not have been imposed had You notified the Travel Supplier and Us within the specified period.
These benefit(s) will not duplicate any other benefits payable under the policy or any coverage(s) attached to the policy.

Here’s How the IMG LX Plan’s
Interruption for Any Reason Works: Benefit Works:

Forefinger bullet point The IMG LX may be upgraded with the 75% Cancel and Interrupt For Any Reason coverage for a 50% surcharge if bought not more than 20 days after your initial trip deposit date.

If You cancel Your Trip for any reason not otherwise covered by the IMG LX policy, IMG will reimburse You, up to the Maximum Benefit Amount shown in the Schedule of Benefits, for unused, forfeited prepaid non-refundable Payments or Deposits paid for the Travel Arrangements You purchased for Your Trip, if You interrupt Your Trip forty-eight (48) or more hours after the actual Scheduled Departure Date for any reason not otherwise covered by this policy, provided the following conditions are met:

  1. You purchase the Interruption for Any Reason Benefit within the Time Sensitive Period; and
  2. You insure the full cost of any subsequent arrangements added to the same Trip within twenty (20) days of the date of Your payments for any subsequent Travel Arrangements.

In no event shall the amount reimbursed for Trip Interruption for Any Reason exceed the lesser of the amount You prepaid for Your Trip or the Maximum Benefit Amount shown in the Schedule of Benefits.

This benefit does not cover the failure of the Travel Supplier to provide the agreed upon arrangements for Your Trip for any reason.

These benefit(s) will not duplicate any other benefits payable under the policy or any coverage(s) attached to the policy.

8 Travel Insurance Hacks You Should Know, According to Experts

Before you set off exploring, ensure you’re protecting your trip the right way.
By Zachary Mack
October 27, 2022

2) Take a photographic note of everything you’ve packed in your checked luggage.
Whether packing is a long, drawn-out, and traumatic process for you or an easy last-minute task you breeze through, you still might not recall everything that makes its way into your bag. That’s why experts say it’s important to remember to do one thing before you zip up and take off. “Before you close your suitcases, take photos of the contents, so you have an accurate list for a claim,” Steve Dasseos from Trip Insurance Store tells Best Life. “It’s nearly impossible to remember what you packed if your suitcase is lost.”

This is a long page – You get lots of information and prices. This plan is for MT, NY, OR and PA residents. Click here if you live in MO, here if you live in WA or here if you live in the other States to see your correct information.
If you are receiving a full refund or travel credit due to Covid, TravelSafe can change the dates on your policy. Click here to learn what you can do with your TravelSafe policy.
This is important: If you are making any of your payments with a travel credit from a previously cancelled trip, your Initial Trip Deposit Date is the date you first paid money on the cancelled trip that created the travel credit. Not the date you used the credit.
