IMG plans bought after 8/13/2024 will not cover trips to Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Israel (just CFAR), Libya, Myanmar, North Korea, Palestine, Russia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela, Yemen.

Here’s How the IMG Choice Plan’s Cancel For Any Reason Benefit Works:

There’s an optional 75% Cancel and Interrupt For Any Reason upgrade if bought not more than 21 days after your initial trip deposit date.

If You cancel Your Trip for any reason not otherwise covered by the IMG Choice policy, IMG will reimburse You, up to the Maximum Benefit Amount shown in the Schedule of Benefits, for the unused, forfeited, prepaid non-refundable Payments or Deposits Travel Arrangements You purchased for Your Trip, when You cancel Your Trip prior to Scheduled Departure Date for any reason not otherwise covered by this policy, provided the following conditions are met:

  1. 1. Your payment for this Policy is received within the Time Sensitive Period;
  2. 2. You are medically fit and otherwise able to travel at the time You purchase this benefit;
  3. 3. You have insured one hundred percent (100%) of the value/costs for Travel Arrangements known to You at the time You purchase this benefit that are subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions;
  4. 4. You cancel Your Trip two (2) days or more prior to Your Scheduled Departure Date.

You can only purchase this benefit at the time the base policy is purchased and within twenty (20) days of the initial trip deposit.

This Cancel for Any Reason Benefit does not cover the failure of the Travel Supplier to provide the bargained-for Travel Arrangements due to cessation of operations for any reason.

Special Conditions: In the event of a Cancel for Any Reason claim, You must advise the Travel Supplier and Us as soon as possible in the event of a claim or of learning of a potential need to cancel Your Trip prior to Your Scheduled Departure Date, whichever is sooner.

IMG will not pay benefits for any additional penalty charges incurred that would not have been imposed had You notified the Travel Supplier and Us within the specified period.
These benefit(s) will not duplicate any other benefits payable under the policy or any coverage(s) attached to the policy.

Here’s How the IMG Choice Plan’s Interruption for Any Reason Works:

If You interrupt Your Trip forty-eight (48) hours or more after Your actual departure date, for any reason not otherwise covered in this Policy, We will reimburse You for seventy-five percent (75%) of the total amount of coverage You purchased for Your Travel Arrangements, for:

  1. 1. the unused portion of the Pre-paid, non-refundable Payments or Deposits You paid for Your Travel Arrangements

This coverage is only available provided:

  1. (a) Your payment for this Policy is received within the Time Sensitive Period; and
  2. (b) You have insured one hundred percent (100%) of the value/costs for Travel Arrangements known to You at the time You purchase this benefit that are subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions.

This Trip Interruption for Any Reason benefit does not cover penalties associated with any air or other Travel Arrangements not provided by the Travel Supplier or failure of the Travel Supplier to provide the bargained-for Travel Arrangements for any reason.

These benefit(s) will not duplicate any other benefits payable under the policy or any coverage(s) attached to the policy.
