I’m Doing a Q & A on Cruise Critic for December 2020

by Steve Dasseos on December 2, 2020

I am doing a month long Question and Answer about Trip Insurance on CruiseCritic.com for December 2020. Come and check it out here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/2500-qa-cruise-insurance-with-steve-dasseos-of-the-tripinsurancestorecom-read-only/

The forum is open for any member, so if you have any questions you think would be helpful to others, please ask them in this forum.

If you cruise, or even if you are potentially interested in cruising in the future, I suggest you become a member of CruiseCritic.com if you are not already. It’s free to join and you can read, learn and lurk if participating in social forums is not your passion.

There are many good reasons to be a part of CruiseCritic.com. The three benefits I regularly hear about are:

  • The Roll Calls. CC Help Jenn said this: “Roll Calls are discussions where you can “meet up and chat with” other Cruise Critic members on the same cruise on-line before you sail! Your Roll Call topic is the place where members can get to know one another before they sail, and exchange tips and information about their particular line, ship, Ports of Call, shore excursions/tours, transportation, etc.” Learn more about Roll Calls here.
  • Finding out about excursions from other travelers. Even if you never write a post, you will get valuable information about your cruise’s itinerary on its Roll Call.
  • Meeting fellow cruisers. I have lots of customers who’ve met friends on CruiseCritic.com that they now often travel with. In particular, a couple who lives in Maryland met another couple on a Roll Call who happen to live within a mile of them. They got to know each other on the cruise and have become very good friends.

In case anyone is wondering, I do not receive any financial benefit from CruiseCritic.com nor do I give CruiseCritic.com any financial benefit. I enjoy helping people understand how travel insurance works.

Here’s what one of the CruiseCritic.com Hosts (Host Bonjour) says:

Yay, Steve Dasseos is back with us again!

We’re fortunate to have our friend, Steve Dasseos, doing another residency here on Cruise Critic message boards, answering your trip insurance questions. Whether you’re trying to determine what type of insurance product you need, or if you even need a product, what happens if claims are filed, and what could be excluded from coverage…. well we’ve not yet seen a question here that Steve didn’t handle brilliantly based on his experience, training, and perhaps most importantly, deliver it in a sincere, kind, and comprehensive manner.

Trip insurance is sometimes a complex topic, but Steve helps make it feel palatable, and manageable even though most of us don’t love dealing with the intricacies of insurance, and aren’t experts. As positive news has broken lately about vaccine progress, and ships are well into testing their safety plans and protocols, it’s not unreasonable to start looking into future travel plans. In light of how 2020 went, it may be wiser than ever to consider trip insurance to cover any journey you may make in the near future.

Take advantage of this opportunity to consult with Steve about your options, how to shop, what’s important, what’s not, so when you are ready to book and you need to decide about insurance, you’ll be prepared to make the best choices to protect yourself, your family/friends, and your investment.

Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to connect with an expert!!

I hope this makes sense. If you want the right travel insurance advice, call us at 1-888-407-3854 and we'll help you figure it all out.
