Call or Write Congress and President Obama

by Steve Dasseos on July 14, 2011

I hope it’s no surprise to you that there’s a budget fight going on in Washington, DC. No matter your age, ethnicity, political leaning, State of residence, weight, height, interests, sleeping habits or anything else that makes you unique, the one thing we all have in common is that the outcome of this fight will change our and our family’s futures.

Believe it or not, you can impact its outcome. Don’t let your Senators, Representative and President out there in Washington, DC be swayed by the polls or editorials. Tell them what you want them to do. I just got off the phone making my wishes known.

By the way, you can tell them what you want them to do whether or not you voted for them or even voted at all.

There are three ways to do that (listed in order of effectiveness)

  1. Send them a written letter
  2. Call them
  3. Send them an email

Here’s all the contact information:

The United States House of Representatives

http://www.house.gov/representatives/ – you can find your Representative with their phone number and other contact information.

The United States Senate

http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm – you can find your Senators (you have 2) with their phone number and other contact information.

The White House
