How To Print Your Policy With Adobe Reader
If you don't have Adobe Reader, click here to get the Adobe Reader free
Try the following in attempting to print out your policy:
- From the pdf file in Adobe Acrobat, select the Print option.
- Select the 'Advanced' button on the bottom-left corner of the box.
- Select the 'Print as image' checkbox. NOTE: If this checkbox is greyed out, see EXCEPTIONS section below.
- Hit OK.
- The pdf should now print fine.
EXCEPTIONS:
If the 'Print as image' checkbox is greyed out, try the following:
OPTION 1: Save PDF File to Desktop
- Save generated pdf file to the desktop.
- Click on the pdf file to bring up Adobe Reader.
- Repeat printing steps.
- The 'Print as image' box should be selectable. If not, then try OPTION 2.
OPTION 2: Change IE Browser Security Settings:
Please note that the following steps are to be done at the risk of the individual. It may impact how other software programs function.
- Click on Tools / Internet Options.
- Click on Security tab
- Set the security level to 'Medium'. If not set already, click on the 'Default Level' button. Move the slider button to 'Medium' and hit 'Apply'.
- Close all browsers.
- Repeat print process and the 'Print as image' box should now be selectable.
