That means you pay for your medical treatment &#038; prescriptions up front and are reimbursed after filing your claim. Sometimes the insurance company will pay the medical claim directly, but it&#8217;s on a case-by-case basis.<\/p>\n<p>Some travel insurance plans will cover air evacuation back home if needed. The key is &#8220;Medically Necessary&#8221;. Many plans will guarantee your admittance to a medical facility, too.<\/p>\n<p>Another choice is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tripinsurancestore.com\/medjetassist.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MedjetAssist<\/a>. MedjetAssist is not an insurance plan, so it doesn&#8217;t pay medical costs (just the transport).
