{"id":5263,"date":"2013-04-24T11:43:44","date_gmt":"2013-04-24T16:43:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.TripInsuranceStore.com\/blog\/?p=5263"},"modified":"2013-04-24T11:43:44","modified_gmt":"2013-04-24T16:43:44","slug":"follow-the-rules-or-we-wont-help-you-get-travel-insurance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tripinsurancestore.com\/blog\/follow-the-rules-or-we-wont-help-you-get-travel-insurance\/","title":{"rendered":"Follow The Rules or We Won&#8217;t Help You Get Travel Insurance"},"content":{"rendered":"<div align=\"right\"><a title=\"Subscribe to my Wall Street Journal Recommended Blog\" href=\"http:\/\/eepurl.com\/wCXYr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Subscribe<\/a><\/div>\n<p>Last Friday I had to send the following email:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Janet, After I heard your phone call with Tara, we cannot help you get travel insurance.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What would prompt me telling someone who wanted to buy a $1,054 cruise travel insurance policy this: &#8220;After I heard your phone call with Tara, we cannot help you get travel insurance&#8221;?<\/p>\n<p>She broke one of my <a title=\"About TripInsuranceStore.com\" href=\"https:\/\/tripinsurancestore.com\/about-tripinsurancestore-com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TripInsuranceStore.com rules<\/a>: &#8220;We only work with nice people, so if you&#8217;re not nice, kind &#038; happy, there are lots of other travel insurance sellers who will gladly take your money.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Since I&#8217;m such a nice guy, I didn&#8217;t give her one of my competitors&#8217; phone numbers to call (though the thought briefly flickered in my mind).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here are the rules to work with TripInsuranceStore.com:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/graphics\/tis-rules.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"450\" border=\"0\" align=\"center\" title=\"TripInsuranceStore.com's rules\"><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s too bad that Janet has made it to her forties with being able to get her way and being completely rude because &#8220;I am spending a lot of money with you &#8230; &#8220;.
