Here&#8217;s why not:<\/p>\n<p>The only way you can split up your trip costs is if you have invoices showing the costs specifically attributed to your wife is $900 and the costs specifically attributed to you personally is $1,500.<\/p>\n<p>If not, then the insurance company will correctly assume your trip costs are divided up equally between you both.
