Though it&#8217;s worth asking since it&#8217;s better to buy travel insurance correctly up front than it is to make a mistake and fix it later.<\/p>\n<p>The short answer is &#8220;Yes&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The reason is because insurance companies (and most businesses, too, if they&#8217;re smart) will take money from anybody. Just like it doesn&#8217;t matter who pays for your meal at a restaurant or to put gas in your car, it doesn&#8217;t matter who pays for your travel insurance.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a word of advice when you are using someone else&#8217;s credit card to buy insurance: make sure they know the charge is coming.
