Excursion ran late, traffic delays, etc. Will travel insurance cover us if we missed the ship&#8217;s departure at a port of call? Would it get us to the next port to meet with the ship?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>If you miss the ship because your excursion ran late or traffic delays, etc, having travel insurance won&#8217;t help you at all. The only part of travel insurance that will help you is if you&#8217;re sick \/ injured and seeking documented medical attention caused you to miss the departure.<\/p>\n<p>The reason the other delays aren&#8217;t covered is that it&#8217;s the excursion&#8217;s obligation to get you back to the ship in time.
