Hi Steve, My husband and I have ordered our travel insurance from you again, This makes four years in a row. We are insured with AIG Travel Guard. We have seen AIG and its financial difficulties in the news over the past weeks. Is our coverage void? Margaret G.

Thanks for writing. You are right – AIG has been in the news lately. And, no, your coverage is not void. It is in place and will cover you as you expect with no surprises.
First, I have no trouble recommending AIG Travel Guard. I used to be a Registered Representative and Certified Financial planner with Series 6, Series 7 and Series 22 securities licenses.
