Can I Round My Trip Cost Down?

by Steve Dasseos on November 7, 2008

The total cost of our trip (Cruise only, driving to port) is $1,018 per person. I don’t need pre-existing of financial default coverage, if I round it down to $1,000, other than a reduced reimbursement for trip cancellation, is there any other penalty that could occur? It looks like $1,000 is a cutoff for price jump. Thanks, Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Yes, you can round it down to $1,000 to save money. You won’t trigger any other penalty. If you incur other prepaid non-refundable trip costs you can increase your trip cost later if needed.
